The Legacy of The Old Man

Francisco Marte Jr. released his tobacco brand in 2018, which he named Old Man in honor of his father, who taught him everything about tobacco. Francisco Marte Sr. was born in 1935, in the North of the Dominican Republic in a family of tobacco farmers, married and father of 10 children. He grew up around tobacco and that made him a master of the tobacco leaf.

Old Man Tobacco products are fermented and processed using techniques learned over generations, tobacco is a very sensitive natural product and slightest changes in temperature, moisture and humidity can affect the product quality, our focus is to maintain all these factors under control to guarantee our quality and consistency.

Since December 2018, Old Man Tobacco has been supplying to retails and wholesale companies tobacco products made 100% with aged, dark, air cured tobacco leaves, with no ingredients nor chemicals added, all processes are natural; the conditioning, preparations and cigar rolling is all handmade by our artisans in our facility in Santiago de Los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.
